Our entire cast will work creatively for six days at our residency at Music Back Then, supported by ArtsWest CT and individual donors. This residency culminates in an informal public showing on July 24th!
Join us on Thursday, July 24th at 7 PM at Music Back Then in West Haven, CT for an informal, in-progress performance of new material from The Mercy Velvet Project. This showing will be the culmination of our six-day residency supported by ArtsWest CT.
*Optional pre-show talk* at 6:30 PM about Tap Dance history, connecting the past and present. Why is Tap Dance underrepresented? Why do people think it's a "dying art form"? (It's NOT). Let's talk about it.
Suggested donation: $10 (Cash or Venmo at the door)
Beer, wine, and snacks available for purchase from Music Back Then
Please RSVP if you know you are coming so we can have an approximate head count ahead of time. But all are welcome at the door :)
This is a family friendly event!

Workshop: 11:30-1 PM, open to all ages and levels. Come learn a short combo that you can choose to perform in the show if you want! (Or just dance with us during class and then watch the show!). You don’t have to have tap shoes!
Performance: 2-3 PM, free and open to all. Come picnic on the Norwalk Twon Green while listening to and watching live music and tap dance converse! Performances range from children to professional adults.
